Volker Bingel, born 1956, lawyer, comes from Freiburg. Through his son Markus Bingel, he first became aware of the beauties of Poland and has learned to love the country after several city trips (Warsaw, Poznan, Krakow). One wish he still wants to fulfill is a vacation on a houseboat on the Masurian Lake District. Through his wife he was able to establish many family and personal contacts to Romania, combined with visits to Bucharest and Fokšan. A round trip through the Carpathians is also planned. His special love is the Free State of Thuringia with its innumerable sights, scenic beauties, underground experiences and museum hidden champions.
