Christian Lang was born in Göttingen, Germany, in 1987. He grew up in the tranquil town of Nörten-Hardenberg, which, in addition to liquor, is also known for an equestrian tournament where the world elite competes every year in June. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree (history, philosophy) in his hometown in 2010, he was drawn to southern Germany. In Freiburg, Lang then studied “Comparative History of Modern Times” between 2010 and 2013. Since early childhood, Christian Lang has loved writing stories. In order to also be able to turn his hobby into his profession, he moved to Osnabrück in 2013 to become an editor. He likes the city so much that he has been living there since then. In his free time, he likes to travel. Not least through his friendship with Markus Bingel, he has developed a special passion for countries in Eastern Europe in recent years. The hospitality of the people, the multifaceted nature of the East and, in particular, the culinary specialties inspire him anew on every trip.
